"We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cottage. On arrival we discovered tomatoes ripening on the window sill, scrummy fresh bread, a fruit bowl full of fruit, a selection of cereals, butter, jam, milk - to name a few. This is a wonderful place to escape to. It is quiet and peaceful, with huge views over the river and beyond.The only downside was no TV and no doors on the bedrooms, but that didn't worry us, and the reasonable price took this into consideration. Good wifi...

"She's a little gem. She may have been the oldest place we have ever stayed in but she sure was the cleanest! The linen was fresh and clean. Ample parking space for our food trucks. fast and friendly communication throughout. Thank you for having us. We will back again next year. "

"Very well-presented and surprisingly spacious cute cottage, great place to forget the rest of the world and read books. Utterly relaxing and the views on the walks, right across the harbour, are impressive. "

"Our little family of 3 had a very relaxing few days staying in the cabin. We loved sitting on the glamping deck enjoying the quiet and the beautiful views and wandering down to the water and mucking around on the shoreline. Cabin is really well set up with everything you need and Valerie is the best host and even bought my son a little birthday present We enjoyed a few activities in the area including the Ruawai cycleway, the Kauri Bushmans walk and a trip to Waipu for pizza and to check out...
