"Booked this for my daughter and 2 grand children, last minute as her tent was broken by the adverse weather they was experiencing. They loved the property, they said it was very clean and well equipped and they loved the view of the mountains. Property is very close to a train station but my daughter said they didnt hear any noise from it."

"Our stay at the Cottage in the woods was amazing and I wish we had booked for longer. I travelled with four teens and a dog and the property was perfect. A beautifully decorated and well laid out property that had everything we needed and more. Beautiful outdoor seating and cooking options, arrived to the fire going and a welcome basket. "We loved staying at this property and our family remarked how they would have loved to have stayed here our whole trip. It was a well-maintained property with plenty of space for our family of 7. It had plenty of amenities for everyone and the kids especially loved the game space and hot tub. "Die Bilder im Inserat versprechen nicht zu viel - die Aussicht vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse ist grandios. "We booked at the last minute fir 2 nights as we were delayed sailing to Isle of Barra due to bad weather. Melfort was perfect for us to relax and begin our holiday, the family loved the pool and we had a lovely walk. The cottage was great. "We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended."

"The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna."
