"One of the best places we’ve stayed in . Breakfast was superb with a good choice of fruit and cereal followed by a first class Scottish breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything one might want. Parking was excellent and we were allowed to leave the car well after check out. Mine host Gordon couldn’t have been more helpful."

"The whole stay was fantastic! The staff are ALL so welcoming and friendly, the atmosphere when you walk in is warm. The breakfast was great plenty to choose from as well. The concierges are more than accommodating, the scenery and setting phenomenal. It was peaceful, the bar lounge is comfortable and a gorgeous view - even when it is raining! "The room was very clean and warm. Toiletries, bath robes and slippers provided (although slippers a little on the large size for me, just being a size 2) !! Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast very nice and served to order lovely and hot. Dinner was also delicious. Coffee/tea was served in lounge following dinner in front of a lovely roaring log fire. Overall highly recommend this excellent hotel and will definitely return in the future."

"Beautiful grounds, fabulous refurb, rooms are spotless, loved the gorgeous decor. All staff very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the attention to detail, we were given a welcome drink, also there’s a seating area set up near rooms, providing sweet and savoury snacks. On checkout we were also given a leaving treat( small bag of assorted sweets). All greatly appreciated. We Definetly plan to return and would highly recommend this gorgeous boutique hotel."

"All staff I had contact with were professional, friendly and welcoming. The cleanliness of my room and the hotel overall was excellent. Some bits of the hotel are dated or needing maintenance but not to a degree that affected my stay. Would highly recommend "
