"There is not a front desk person. It is self check in and out however you are provided a number if you need anything and they are very prompt at replying and getting whatever you need taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities you could need. It was in close walking distance of the Lake Side Beach. The hotel will provide you with 50% off tickets to the beach if you’d like. It is also very easy to walk to all the shopping/restaurants. We would stay here again. "

"It was such a pleasure to come back to a clean and updated room after our busy days in South Lake Tahoe. We’ve stayed at other inns and nothing really compares! The hotel staff was also great at responding fast, so even if we had questions, I knew they’d be available to answer without delay. I’ll definitely be booking again! "

"Playpark Lodge was everything you could hope for. It was well laid out, had everything you could require (there was no decaf coffee but they delivered right after I requested it). I will definitely stay there again."

"Fantastic staff. Warm and large outdoor pool and hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring. Discount for accessing private nearby waterfront. Walkable to heavenly shopping area and beach. Spacious room. The carpet in our room showed wear of many wet ski boots. A few dead/squished bugs on the wall. Sink disposal needs a cleaning/deodorizing. Bathroom tub in smaller of two rooms could use a refresh. Walls could use paint. WiFi was slow/spotty. But hey- more reason to explore Tahoe outdoors...

"I would describe our stay as nice. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. As for the room, I would say that the carpet and furniture were worn. The light part of the carpet looked stained and dirty. The night stands were peeling. Also, the room phone was missing but as soon as we reported it they brought us a new one. The bed was a little too firm for me but was fine for my husband. Overall it was a good stay but I expected more for the rating it had. "
