"If you can, book a room with a nice view. We asked for a room with a balcony, and they only had the first floor. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather, so we took it, not realizing we would be very disappointed…
It turned out to be a balcony facing dead space, and no view…
Well, everyone there was very nice and helpful, but this time, we really did not enjoy our stay as much as the previous time.
My bad, I guess, for not researching what room types were better."

"We loved our stay in Tahoma! This cabin is so charming, well loved, and cared for. The cabin was very clean, bikes were in perfect condition, and the electric grill seemed like it had maybe never been used. We loved listening to CDs in the morning and watching VHS movies at night. Perfect location to lots of west shore beaches and trails. Couldn't recommend it enough!"

"Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. At the time of our visit, there was some construction next door but I can't fault the property for that. The downstairs...
