"A great place for a peaceful weekend break. Outdoor AC Unit in Summer Cottage needs to be looked at, as it sounds like an approaching helicopter during the night. "

"Owners very friendly and welcoming, The house and facilities were all clean and well maintained. Stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Very pleased with this stay. Would come again and highly recommend to family and friends."

"We had a great stay at Silkwood on the Goulburn, with almost anything you could need/want in an accomodation.Also very handy having the pub walking distance away.The only negative comment would be that you have to take all your own linen and towels, as for the price, we felt this should have been included."

"We loved our Autumn weekend getaway stay at Mountain Ash Lodge. The house was very warm and cosy (loved the fireplace); well appointed with everything we needed, and a very short walk to town (5 min stroll). Beds were very comfy and we also loved the outdoor hot tub. Views from front and back were lovely and backing onto bush land was fabulous! We’ll be back!"

"This is definitely budget accommodation, the unit was not flash and the upkeep to our unit poor, washing machine didn't spin out (leaving clothes very wet) and the door jammed making it difficult to exit (lucky we didn't have to exit in a hurry. However, if these things don't both you then the location is amazing, and there is a good variety of facilities. The staff were very helpful with extending our booking a further night when we had to change plans late at night. My conclusion is the staff...

"Peaceful lovely location, easy to get to the lake, waterfall, dam etc. Host was very prompt and helpful.Just keep in mind no bathmats, sheets or pillowcases (as mentioned on listing). Also the fireplace smokes, the warning about it being smoky is mentioned at the property.Overall a great weekend getaway"

"we had a beautiful Easter weekend away. The property was perfect for a family holiday with 3 kids and 6 adults. We enjoyed a stunning Easter Egg hunt in the garden, long lunch outside and the fireplace came in handy at night. Stunning property that was fun to explore with the kids and home was fully stocked with all the bedding, crockery and board games you needed. Really felt like we were able to relax. "
