"Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. "Unfortunately the food let this outlet down. Very poor. Staff were all very nice, very helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay but the hotel does appear to be in need of an update."

"We had a lovely stay here. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Upon arrival we had to wait for our room to be ready and had a drink in the garden which was so peaceful. Our room was very spacious and we had alot of space to put our clothes away, the bed was nice but it was two beds put together and it was very clear, but nothing major still had the best sleep. The shower was amazing great water pressure and good temperature. "

"We’ve stayed at this property a few times now. We like it here as it’s really convenient for a night out in Southampton. Just a quick walk through a lovely park and you are in the heart of the city, convenient for the many pubs, bars restaurants and shops. Southampton guildhall and the Mayflower theatre are a stones throw away. The hotel is spacious, welcoming and clean . There is a bar and food if you want and breakfast all at an additional cost. The only downside is that it is on a busy road...

"I arrived with a blown out tyre only to find that I was actually booked into the northbound hotel not the south bound one. Staff were amazing swapped my booking over to the southbound one helped me organise a mobile tyre company and were kind and compassionate."

"It was really modern and clean inside; shared kitchen area with fridge, freezer, microwave, and free tea and coffee, which was great. Our room was quite hot as it was on the top floor, but when we asked, they brought up a fan, which was great and solved the problem. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for the beach with bar and restaurants very close by."
