"Restful place for a family vacation. No direct access to the lake, not off the front yard."

"The house was very convenient & comfortable, and we enjoyed it as a base for our get-together. I only have some minor quibbles. For example, there was some conflicting information about firewood and towels in the info provided (both were provided at the house). Also, the area around the hot tub was a bit dirty but we just we just grabbed a broom and cleaned it up. Other than those very minor things, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"This is our second time staying at Sunset View. We love the location. The southern end of lake is more quiet in our opinion and this home is perfect for two families. We love the overall space, flat yard and that you can go into the water easily given the ocean type access. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked and the host provides basics to get you started which should last a good 2-3 days. We will most definitely be back to Sunset View in the future."

"Very spacious home! We were 4 couples and everyone had their own bathroom. Kitchen very well stocked. Loved the wood burning fireplace. The master bedroom gas fireplace did not work however. Hope that has been fixed. "

"Great place but was not aware the of how close the other houses were. The cabin behind us which was called "exceeds expectations" was very loud playing music until 3 am. We were not happy about that. Other than that, it was a nice place. Enjoyed the hot tub!"

"Quiet home nestled in a wooded community. Limited view of the water, though short walk to it/the dock. Easy drive to attractions and restaurants. Nice that the home has kayaks, paddleboards and other water activities. Great place for a family with teenagers. "

We had some very minor observations for improvement: 1. The arcade machine was fun but not being set on free play requiring a quarter was annoying. Nobody has a quarter in 2024 2. The kitchen and first level need wi Dow treatments. There is free view into the home from the neighbours 3. The upstairs rec room to needs to...

"Our group of 8 guys loves everything about this house. It was cozy, provided all essential materials, very spacious on each floor, and was perfect for using a hot tub in freezing temperatures. Also great location from any breweries or stores (15 mins). "

"My husband and I went to relax and that is exactly what we did. It's very quiet there and that is a plus. Close to anything you need but someone secluded. The place was somewhat dated but it looks like they are slowly making updates. I loved the huge rooms and very much enjoyed my stay!"

"Very nice cabin tucked into the woods. Place was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the gas fireplace but service got it working. The master bed was problematic. Basically a box spring and mattress on the floor between a bed frame. Not sure if the slats were broken or missing, but it created a very low to the floor bed. Only other issue was the toaster. Something is stuck in the that sets off the smoke alarms. I tried clearing it with no luck. We’d rent this place again"

"Red Moose Cabin was lovely! The space, access to the lake, the deck. Only isdue was a lack of soap for the bathrooms and dishes, which we ended up purchasing ourselves. I loved my time in this cabin. "
