"Expedia map sent me to completely the wrong area, more than 1km away from the hotel. Without a friendly local who works as a courier I would have been very lost. Property itself is very clean and nice. Because of a serious medical issue I could spend only 1 night instead of the seven that I paid for. I was told at checkout and by expedia message that their policy did not allow reimbursements, but they would review my special case with management. They never did."

"Absolutely loved how clean and central this location was! It made getting around much easier as someone who has never been to Japan. The train station is across the street which is helpful, but there’s also a lot of stores and restaurants in the same area. Staff were also extremely kind and helpful to interact with. Thank you so much again! I’ll stay here again when I return back to Japan."

"There is NO elevator. Our room was on the second floor and had to carry four 60 pound suitcases up a narrow and windy staircase. Kitchen was enough to cook shrimp, salmon, and Wagyu for the family. Subway is approx 10-15 minute walk away. Great restaurants and convienence stores nearby. "

"Sotetsu fresa Higashi is great location is really convenient with it being with in waking distance to few train stations with one being right next to the hotel . There are also a lot of restaurants such as Chinese one next to it, a MacDonald a cross the street and at least 3 convenient stores 2 of which opens 24 hours a day with one block. "This was the Prime Location!!! A complete mall below the hotel with underground connection to Ikebukuro station. Only a ten minute walk to the train station that has access to all the major parts of Tokyo. We could not have been happier. The room was nice and our view from the 33rd floor was gorgeous. Good shower and tub. Provided our pajamas and fresh linens daily. Even a family mart right next to the elevator. We ate the best ramen of our entire trip only 200m away from the hotel. "
