This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Food was good and everything was clean and tidy. Heating / water system outside of my room was quite noisy at night for some reason. Not so good if you are a light sleeper.
