"Beautiful house with character, host Sinclair was really good on arrival, comfortable room with really comfy chair for sitting whilst doing paperwork later and had an excellent sleep. Breakfast selection was better than any hotel with homemade jams, cooked selections superb."

"I liked everything about the Marine. Only one criticism and that was the fact that the hotel itself does not have a direct telephone that you can ring them on. All calls for all hotels in the group go through central reservations whom I called and was put on hold for half an hour. But everything other aspect of the hotel and our stay was excellent. Will definitely stay there again without question."

"A really lovely B&B with an exceptionally warm and welcoming owner. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the room and bathroom very clean and comfortable with lots of generous extras - toiletries, tea and coffee, etc. We had a super stay and are very grateful!"

"We were up to visit family and friends, met some in the bar. The room was as we requested, ground floor with walk in shower. The addition of a grab rail and shelf for the toiletries in the shower would be a good idea and why does hotels always have loose toilet seats? "

"There was no clear way to easily communicate with host. Thankfully he reached out to us when we didn’t arrive at check-out time. He was gracious, but we had no number to inform him that we would be late. I won’t be using Expedia/VRBO, or whatever it’s called again. The platform is not nearly as good as Airbnb."

"Amazing decor, wackiest we've ever seen in a hotel. The Cadillac theme runs throughout the hotel, a lot of thought has gone into the presentation."

"Location: Great on the sea front at Largs and next door to the famous Nardines restaurant. Parking: plenty of parking at hotel which is free. Note of caution: this is a hotel designed to host weddings. So depending on your stay there might be loud music until closing time (Midnight). Rooms: very comfortable and if you upgrade there is amazing views out to the sea. No air conditioning, but tea coffee making facilities. No fridge. Overall. Pleasant stay, safe quite location, but as I have said...

"This is the perfect hotel to stay before flying out of (or into) Glasgow Airport. The hotel is just a quick walk to the terminal. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast (included) was open for 5am and was a typical "continental" breakfast. We had dinner in the dining room the night before and it was quite good. "
