"Just an incredibly beautiful property and perfect little place for my spouse and two teens. Brought my kayak and paddled every day. My family and I hiked, picked blueberries and went whale watching. From the house we saw bald eagles, osprey, terns and all kinds of other birds in the air — plus seals and porpoises in the water. The fire pit was a great way to end each day. "

"This was authentic Maine - lovely cabin located in the trees. It was a nice getaway from the crowds. Beds were comfortable and everything was as described. Would definitely stay there again. "We loved this property! The units were very clean and equipped well. Very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The huge outdoor patio had comfortable seating and a fire pit for guest to use. Also had another area for grilling with quality grills for guest use. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again if we travel that way. "

"This was a great cabin, beautiful views and overall fun experience with the kids. The loft area is a little small for four of us so we ended up sleeping two in the loft and two on the main floor. Prepare yourselves for the mosquitoes! I wish we had more time to kayak, but we did have s'mores at the fire pit and cooked our own lobsters. "

"Good place to rest your head with parking (a luxury in Bar Harbor). Made two separate reservations because decided to add a night. No issues whatsoever. Lots of amenities-provided everything you need! Kitchen a plus. Good amount of space. "

"This was a terrific stay and the host Ashley was fantastic! She responded quickly to my questions and was helpful with a couple of minor issues that came up. Quick to help solve the issues. She kept in great communication with the check in and check out and getting the indoor fireplace working. The property is stunning and so much fun to have those memories of our trip to Maine. There is plenty of room and storage for my family of 4, including 2 younger children. The kitchen is well...

"Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "

"Landmark 1910 Shingle-style mansion centrally located next to downtown Bar Harbor, just steps from the sand bar to Bar Island. House was as advertised; maintenance and operating features fine; booking and check-in process smooth. A perfect venue for an extended family reunion. (We booked the house for my wife's 70th birthday.)"

"The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. "
