"Stayed for 2 nights for a weekend ski trip. Comfortably slept 6 adults and 2 children. Very rustic but had everything we needed. The biggest issues we had were the heater seemed to shut off on its own a few times due to it needing a new filter. We also noticed the shower seemed to leak all over the bathroom floor which was inconvenient and there was apparent water damage on the wood around the shower which indicated the leak has probably existed for a while. "The property was perfect for our 3 week stay! The bed was extremely comfortable ( we are picky) and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend for small children, due to the stairs , but our 5 and 6 year old children were quite content and loved the dock for fishing. There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast...

"Large house with plenty of room. Everything worked as expected. Quiet neighborhood on the island. Property ran right up to the water. It's a great are to go and get away for a weekend or longer. Would definitely stay again. "

"Overall I enjoyed this rental very much, however, I tried 2 beds and did not find either one comfortable for this 60 year old. The rental allowed me to spend some time by myself as my Family from RI could not make the trip up at the last minute."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mark’s house by the river. The house has everything you need, has plenty of space for a family of four, and it’s literally right on the Ammonoosuc River. It’s also in a perfect location with so many outdoor adventures nearby. Mark is also a great host. We will definitely stay again the next time we are in the area. "

"We were a group of ten. 3’couples & 4 children, ages 11-12. Cabin was perfect for us all. 3 king beds & 2 bunks & double for the kids. The double sided fireplace kept the place cozy & the dinning table for 12 was perfect. Skiing at Bretton woods was fantastic. We would stay there again. "

"My daughter and I stayed over the weekend for a hockey trip. The host Patricia was very receptive and accommodating. Its in a good location to visit all the local attractions as well."

"Berlin, NH is a hidden gem near Gorham. We enjoyed our stay. The house is updated with still a feel of the history of the home. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked. Thank you for everything. We would stay there again."

"Our family absolutely enjoyed our week long stay at this beautiful, cozy cabin while exploring Northern NH and VT. The cabin is very clean and well stocked with all of the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The mountain views are gorgeous and the location is very peaceful, but only a short drive into town and local attractions. The host is very helpful and communication was excellent. We highly recommend this cabin and will happily stay again if in Northern NH."
