"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "We had a wonderful visit, the village and surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful with lots of places to walk. Close to the busy, touristy villages for visits but we were glad to escape back to the quiet after a day out exploring. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mark is a very responsive host and gave us lots of information on the area. Hope to return soon. "
