Log Cabin on the River

Thank you for your interest in staying here. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests by using CDC approved sanitizers exclusively and we are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. Your cabin is self check-in with private (key code) entrance, full kitchen and full bathroom.

All amenities are open and operational at this time.

Secluded setting for a relaxed experience surrounded by woods, birds, bunnies & nature/rural sounds.

We recommend arriving here in a car as there is no convenient public transit/transportation to get to nearby attractions or to airports, train stations & bus stations.

Kindly note there is no good cell reception here and we recommend that you read up on all directions, check in information before arrival or print if necessary. You may not be able to access information on your cell phone on the grounds/parking on arrival.
If you want to bring kids, please realize there is only 1 kingsize bed.

Had a wonderful stay and the property was so great we barely left it! Beautiful views from the deck of the river and the bedroom was a comfy loft! The hosts were very responsive and the house was clean. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Peacefulness

We stayed here a couple of years ago and were grateful to return again. Being right next to the stream and hearing it throughout the day and night was amazing. The kitchen was great to cook in and the bedroom with the view of the woods, and special reading nook, was comfortable and relaxing. What an amazing place to spend our 33rd anniversary.

Amazing oasis

Amazing hosts. Responsive! Everything was great! Lovely dreamy location right next to a serene river. Coffee in the morning and cocktails at night had an ambience like no other. Will book again!!

Great Cabin

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights at the Log Cabin at the River and it was magical.The location is very private and Serene. We spent most of our time out on the covered porch. It rained one evening and it was very relaxing listening and watching the rain. Really enjoyed our stay.

This cabin is fabulous - excellent location, well-equipped and nicely decorated. The stream is soothing. We saw a deer and a gazillion fireflies. If there’s a vacancy, book it quickly. You won’t be disappointed.

Cozing log cabin on the river.

Log cabin on the river is the place for you if you want to get away from the city. Easy check- in, close to Shenandoah National Park and easy access to the cabin. The cabin its self is right on a small stream with amazing views. Would highly recommend to friends and family..

Beautiful property

Perfect stay for one night in a cabin overlooking a fast moving stream. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had what we needed. Only one small nit: the lights in the living room were so dim, it was hard to read or see. Other than that, we recommend this house for a rural getaway!

Lovely cabin

Very nice place. Rustic, but with a nice kitchen and bathroom. Had a great time by the fire outside and also using the wood stove inaide. Stream nearby is beautiful
