"Our overall stay was good. There is ample parking. We stayed on the 15th floor and the carpets were fairly dirty (crumbs or food noted) outside the rooms, but inside was fine. Convenient location that requires hotel key to enter the building, which is nice! Due to it being downtown there are lots of emergency vehicles driving by with sirens frequently (4 times on one night, but that’s just how it is downtown in big cities). "This hotel is an absolute dump. Cochroach filled rooms / rooms outdated and smell horrible. Manager is refusing to refund me for my stay and didn’t seem surprised when we showed them the photos and checked out early. Save your money and stay somewhere else!!!!!"

"Room has an awful odor coming from once side of bedroom floor. There was accumulated dirt and grime around fridge. It was chosen for convenience not for price or cleansiness. No free breakfast and very expensive. Front desk staff were good"

"We normally stay at the older Sandman, but decided to splurge and try the Sandman Signature for three nights for my husband’s birthday weekend. Unfortunately, the stay didn’t live up to the price. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly both at check-in and check-out. When we mentioned our concerns at checkout, they said they would pass them along to the manager, which we appreciated. However, the bathroom design is very poor. If you’re staying here, I would strongly recommend...

"Unfortunately hot tub was closed first night of stay. Still took in the pool and the sauna. 2nd night hot tub was back on and the tropical pool regained it's former glory. Real tropical plants! Someone should really fix that sauna door though. "
