Welcome to The Salty Pineapple! Come and experience this cheerful beach house designed with resort inspired amenities that enhance the quality of your vacation! Over 1100+ sq. feet of gorgeous high end designer outdoor shared patio nestled under generously shady trees.

Hidden gem nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac where you can hear the ocean calling! The Salty Pineapple has been designed with a lot of love and thought to make it an oasis for relaxation and unwinding. This coastal hideaway has been completely remodeled from paint to flooring and everything in between, with high-end finish work, modern light fixtures, open shelving, custom trim, contemporary bathroom vanities, beautiful tongue and grove flooring, extra wide granite countertops. Another gorgeous feature of this house is its original wide tongue and grove Oakwood ceiling. A mix of designer furnishings and decor from West Elm, Pottery Barn, Thomasville, and Nautica and pieces from local artists create not only the feel of living inside the pages of a magazine, but also a comfortable place to kick off the shoes, wash off the sand, and enjoy a dip in the hot tub on your deck while grilling your favorite cut!

Perfect for a friends weekend

A friend and I rented both sides of the duplex for our teen daughter’s birthdays for a beach weekend with a few of their friends and it was a great set up for that. Plenty of beds, walkable to great restaurants, nice hang out area in the back with a huge hot tub. The houses are pretty close together in this neighborhood so definitely want to keep that in mind with keeping noise level down to be a respectful guest. It was so helpful that this place had beach supplies like bougie boards, umbrellas and towels and even better a wagon to cart them down to the beach with. It is just across A1A and a couple short blocks from public beach access with 2 crosswalks nearby the area to cross the road for safety. The host was very communicative and reached out right after booking and the day of check in with instructions and invited me to get in touch at anytime with any concerns. Great experience booking this cute little duplex!

Great Space for a large group

We rented both sides of the duplex. Both sides were nicely furnished really lacking nothing. My sister and I both got confused in the listing about the sleeping arrangements but I think that was on us. We did have the number of beds listed but I think I thought there was more than one bedroom on each side without bunks instead. Again I think it was just our confusion but all 12 of us fit fine. If you have more than 12 the sofa sleepers are a must. Anyway the beds were comfortable. The location is great. The walk to the beach is short but there is also super convenient public parking if you have those who can’t walk easily. It is a lovely house.

The house was great. Perfect for older on one side, younger crowd on the other. Plenty of beds for all. Back yard/ deck and jacuzzi was the best!

Great location - property needs some attention

The good - location is great (quiet and convenient) and owner responsiveness was good. The bad - the property has clearly taken every possible booking it can squeeze in and has not kept up with maintenance. No battery in the kitchen clock, the knob was broken on the living room lamp, the kitchen window was so dirty we couldn't see through it. The living room rug has two corners that curl up and we were repeatedly tripping over them. Annoying and potentially hazardous. The couch was so mushy people preferred to stand rather than sit on it. We tried to use the hot tub the first night and the water was both over-chlorinated and really cloudy/ dirty. The owner was very responsive about coming out the next day to empty and refill the tub which was great - so we were able to use it. The biggest disgusting discovery? We found a bag of empty beer cans under the queen bed.

Great location, very clean

We had my family stay in both properties and it was so comfortable and spacious! Very very clean and comfortable. The house is close to SO much and can ride bikes or walk basically everywhere. Great communication with the owner and they are so incredibly sweet. Thanks so much and looking forward to coming back!

July 4th Family Vacation

We loved everything about this house, we would love to be back in the future!! The host kept in contact if we had questions even in late hours of night. It literally had everything you needed for your stay! The back porch was my absolute favorite spot to be! The only think I could recommend is maybe some tiki torches to keep the mosquitoes away!

Awesome

We booked this place for a graduation get together for my wife’s graduation and our family and friends to join us. The place was clean and the amenities listed did not disappoint. A bonus was all of the beach toys for the kids to play with at the beach. Will stay here again if we return to St. Augustine.

Family vacation

From the moment we booked this property the communication was exceptional! We rented both duplexes for our family and was not disappointed! We loved the fact that beach chairs, boogie boards, beach wagon and bikes were provided! Also as requested we had a baby package available for my grandson upon arrival. This place is great for families especially having both duplexes. Plus to top off a great vacation we were able to check in early and check out later than time indicated. All in all this place provided many memories for our family! Thank you for your kindness and exceptional communication!!

Great Home Base for a wonderful trip!

The host was a great communicator and provided so much great information both about the property and the surrounding area. There were some thoughtful touches such as a chest in the master bedroom that was the perfect height for my suitcase to rest. We did use the bikes one day, and the beach chairs saved us from having to bring our own. We played Scattergories one night too. Loved not having to keep up with a key since the door locks have an entry code. The location is perfect- we were able to walk to places to eat, and also to the beach. It was a very short drive over to St. Augustine as well.

Perfect!!

It was the perfect location for 2 families to meet for a vacation. We had our own privacy in the homes and a beautiful shared backyard. Minutes from the beach and delicious food. We will be back!!

Birthday Surprise!

This was a great property to get our 4 families together to celebrate our mother’s 40th! The host went out of her way to make it special. She was also very easy to communicate with. The outdoor area was a bonus and great spot for us to all gather. Thank you for the memories!

Golf stay at the Salty Pineapple

Stayed at the Salty Pineapple for a friends golf trip. Place was great. Had 7 guys so rented both sides. Short walk to the beach and Restaurants. Shaiffu was a great host. Highly recommend!

How sweet the Salty Pineapple

What a unique, comfy, and convenient house! 2 identical, 2 bedroom homes, separated by a wall. A comfortable master bedroom upstairs, as is the bunk bedroom, which sleeps 5. Our grandkids loved being able to all sleep in the same room, without "adults" having to interfere!
