Welcome to Golden Mile Beach Retreat, a renovated and professionally decorated home located in the heart of St. Augustine Beach and a short walk from the beach, numerous restaurants, bars and shops, and the St. Johns County Ocean Pier! This large family house boasts a huge gourmet kitchen, game room, and multiple decks and beautiful views. Enjoy a less than five minute walk down one of the prettiest streets of St. Augustine Beach to the boardwalk beach access. In the evenings, hang out under a gorgeous ancient oak around the fire pit or in the hot tub. Golden Mile Beach Retreat is professionally and beautifully decorated with a comfortable, modern beach vibe. Sleeping arrangements include two king bedrooms and a double bunk room upstairs, along with two pullouts (queen and full) in the upstairs den, and a queen sized pullout in the downstairs living room. You will find everything you need for your vacation including a fully stocked kitchen, clean and fresh linens, bathroom amenities, and beach supplies. Rinse off after the beach in an enclosed outdoor shower. Whether you are wanting to surf, fish, swim, enjoy family time, or take in the night life, Golden Mile Beach Retreat is the perfect location!



While in St. Augustine, don't miss out on the great history and activities the area has to offer. Ride the Old Town Trolley around the area and take in the historic beauty of Downtown St. Augustine! Explore the oldest fort in the continental United States, the Castillo San Marcos, and stroll down colorful St. George Street filled with shops and restaurants of irresistible local flare. You might even spot a Pirate or Spanish Conquistador in period attire! Breathe in the warm, salty air as you enjoy a romantic walk along the waterfront as the sun sets, casting its final rays on the sparkling water, the drifting boats, and the picturesque Bridge of Lions. But don’t forget to make good use of the night by experiencing the Ghost train or Haunted House tour. Enjoy the endless variety of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream, art galleries and bookstores.

25 year age requirement to book and stay: Tenant must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age (an "adult") and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved dates.



Noise Ordinance: The city of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. Violations can result in a $500 fee.



No smoking or vaping on the property. $500 fine for rule violation.

Was a perfect house for all we wanted/needed!! 3 min to the beach, good breakfast & dinner choices too!! Very well stocked with most necessities! Comfortable beds, great bathrooms and washer and dryer, such a nice bonus good yard with Jacuzzi. Two living rooms… one for kids one for adults!! Ping-pong table upstairs in the 2nd living room … driveway parking, close to bridge to get downtown too! To all our favorite restaurants there!!! Happily stay again!!

Management isn't great. Shower leaked so the main water had to be turned off. Technician was sent and fixed the issue. We were forced to stay up until midnight for it to be done. Contacted management and requested a refund for just that one nights stay and was refused. The water leak was preexisting as we could see the hole in the ceiling from the time(s) it had already leaked and not fixed correctly.

Truly a lovely home to visit! The location is fantastic for a beach vacation and so close to local restaurants. Having mayday ice cream on the corner was bad for my weight, because I went there daily. There was enough space to spread out and relax but the downstairs area allows for the late night crew to stay up and watch movies without disturbing anyone that needs to sleep.I will be dreaming of this kitchen, I had soo much fun cooking here. Had to take pictures for my vision board. Love this open concept!!What a terrific layout all around. Would love to come back and visit and stay at this location again. Will be recommending it to all of my friends

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean, nice amenities and great location! The only complaint was no hot water downstairs (for showers, dishes, anything), but that won’t sway us from suggesting this property and looking at it again for our next St. Augustine visit. The rental company was very responsive and supportive when we had a piece of wall decor fall in the middle of the night (nobody got hurt), so strongly suggest them as well for their properties and effort they put in to managing them

We had everything we needed for a family beach trip. Having extra linens and towels was helpful. Also, thank you for having chairs, umbrella, and a cart available for the walk to the beach. The kitchen was great for our crew. Also, the backyard made a lovely setting for a proposal and photos.

Golden Mile getaway 2025

Great location, beautiful house. Very comfy for our family with little ones. Nice big kitchen for cooking family meals...saving money for other things while on our brief vacation. Loved the outdoor area as it gave the kids a safe place to explore. Our pregnant daughter loved the icecream parlor at the end of the street! Short ride to all of the sights, but great for just lounging when we needed down time. The house could use just a little maintainance here and there, and we were a little disappointed that the sundeck wasn't there as advertised in the pictures. Those things are very minor... We had a great time and the house was very accommodating and "homey" for us. Again, absolutely awesome location too!

Just what we needed.

The company that runs this home was very responsive and made the process incredibly easy. The property was clean and had all the essentials we needed. The pingpong table and hot tub added some entertainment on rainy days. The location was fantastic with beach access and lots of places to walk to. Only improvements - beds weren't super comfy and there wasn't salt among the seasoning... but, excellent coffee helped immensely with the late night arrival, lovely Florida back yard (with a stocked fire pit), lots of comfortable space for us to spread out and all the basics provided for. If we head back to this area, would absolutely consider staying here again, and, if traveling elsewhere, would consider the use of iTravel. Very pleased!

End of Summer Getaway

The Golden Mile was perfect for our End of Summer Getaway to celebrate our anniversary and birthday! We loved everything about the home especially the hot tub and outdoor space. The location was convenient to walk to restaurants and the beach. 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again!

After Labor Day Getaway

This house was just what we were looking for. It was big and had plenty of space to spread out. There was plenty of counter space and storage in the kitchen. The dining room table was big enough for family and also for puzzles. The living room was comfortable and we enjoyed playing ping pong upstairs. We enjoyed sitting outside in the back by the big oak tree. The beach was real close. We took advantage of the restaurants, the ice cream shop and the donut shop that were within walking distance. At one time the house may have been the nicest on the street, but it is showing some wear cosmetically, though not enough to stay away.

Great house for entertaining. Beautiful kitchen and open floor plan. Fully stocked kitchen. Great gas stove!! Hot tub should be replaced- never got warmer than 95. The top deck should not be advertised until it is fixed and in working order. Due to the size of the home and the amount of sleepers it can accommodate, I recommend more toilet paper and paper towels

Terrific, pet friendly home close to beach

We rented this house while visiting daughter and family who are local. Loved the beautiful, large kitchen where we cooked gourmet meals for the family. Large dining room with backyard view of an incredible, huge live oak tree. The two large king bedrooms were spacious. Great bunk room where my grandson slept over a few nights. Terrific second floor wrap around balcony with lounge furniture. My dogs loved the fenced backyard. However, one side had a low fence and one dog could jump over. Loved the second floor entertainment tv area complete with ping pong table. We were very disappointed that the rooftop deck was closed for repair. The views of the beach must be amazing from there. The beach is a very short walk and beach chairs and towels and available. I highly recommend this beautiful, spacious home.
