Spacious Oceanfront Pool Home!

  • A Peace of Paradise is a spacious oceanfront home designed for relaxed group stays, offering five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and two additional powder rooms. With room for up to 13 guests, this 2,800 square foot property comfortably accommodates extended families or two families traveling together, while still allowing space to spread out.

    From the back of the house, a private boardwalk leads directly over the dunes to the beach, with only the dunes and a large private pool separating you from the shoreline. The pool may be heated for an additional fee, with heating added in advance and available seasonally. Multiple decks and porches provide inviting outdoor spaces, including a second-story balcony overlooking the Atlantic and a shaded ground-level porch ideal for quiet mornings or evening conversations.

    Inside, the home features two separate living rooms, each furnished with comfortable seating, TVs, and games, making it easy for groups to gather or enjoy downtime separately. The open kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and ample storage. The dining area seats six, complemented by additional seating at the breakfast bar and outdoor dining area.

    Each bedroom includes its own full bathroom, offering privacy throughout the home. The primary suite features a Jacuzzi tub with a unique one-way mirror that captures ocean views. Additional amenities include a second Jacuzzi, washer and dryer, and well-planned indoor and outdoor living areas. This home is not pet-friendly.

    For an additional $400/week or less, we can heat the pool to a maximum of 84 degrees. Add pool heat to your reservation at least 48 hours before arrival. Please note that we do not heat the pool from Memorial Day through mid-September.

Beautiful home exactly as listed. Our family had an awesome time swimming in the pool and hanging out on the beach. Located close to a playground for small kids. Publix and restaurants about 5 minutes away. We hope to visit again soon!

It was an ideal location. It was incredibly easy getting to the beach with all the kids’ toys and other beach stuff. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for the few nights we stayed in. The separate living rooms were perfect for adults and kids to have their own space.

The property was perfect. It was an easy walk to the beach and the pool was amazing to have for the afternoons with our kids when the ocean was too rough.

Nicely equipped with plenty of room for the whole family. We were very comfortable. The pool was a big hit with everyone, as was the direct access to the huge beach, that was not over-crowded. A great beach choice.

Amazing Stay

This property was fantastic! The location was great, the house was very well-equipped, had an amazing pool and lots of room for everyone. This house has everything needed for the perfect beach vacation. We hope to return next year!

Wonderful Vacation

Loved everything. The pool was the best we’ve stayed at thus far. View was beautiful. The beach was amazing. Only thing we missed was the grill, all other amenities were perfect!

Perfect vacation home!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The property was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our week stay. The pool was beautiful and the perfect temp. Tons of beach towels for pool and beach days. There was a few beach chairs and beach toys for the days we spent at the beach. Overall a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend.

The location was perfect. The house was very comfortable except for the 5th bedroom with the bunk bed. That room was very small and the bunk bed itself was very rickety. Probably meant for small children. Plenty of seating for the 7 of us ladies and the pool was the highlight. The bathrooms could use some updating, especially the lower level jetted tub shower combo. This one just needs to be converted into a walk in shower, just for safety alone. We did get a laugh regarding the multitude of pelicans that flew overhead. The houses must be in their usual flight path and during our last evening we were sitting on the upper deck and a couple of us got baptized, if you know what I mean. It was pretty funny! All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The house was a great size. The pool was really nice. We really appreciated all the beach items available to use (chairs, tents etc), that was a nice surprise. The host was very responsive. The view was amazing and the beach was never crowded. Quiet neighborhood. We visited a lot of local restaurants and St. Augustine. We plan on returning to this house! Only suggestion is to add a grill.

Our family of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) had a great time and would stay again. The home was exceptionally clean on arrival. We were impressed with the housekeeper we spoke to who alerted us to an HVAC issue she had reported. This issue was fixed within a few hours. The maintenance folks were efficient and respectful. We used the kitchen a lot. The counter space is limited but the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed having two living spaces. The bedrooms served our needs well. But we would note that the street side bedroom on the first floor seems to be at the end of the hot water line! A picture of this bathroom was not included on the website, but other than the hot water limit, it was fine. The street side bedroom on the second floor (not the master) has a bed that should be replaced on the next upgrade. The pool was spacious and perfect for all after time on the beach which was accessed easily by a well maintained walkway.

Have a family gathering over Memorial Day weekend. Great layout for family and was impressed by the guality of the kitchen utensils. Would stay here again. Only negative was no grill.

Wonderful Beach Delight

Super beach house with large pool and plenty of room for 10+ people with 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of up-front parking room for guests and friends. Only 2 minor points: slow internet (3 mbps) and dining room which only seats 6. Other 4-person kitchen seating around sink island. Biggest negative was outrageous $500 VRBO fee tacked onto house rental.

Sunny days on the beach

This beach house is as welcoming as could be. Its expansive windows look out on a big stretch of beach, easily reachable by a brand new wooden walkover. The bedrooms each have en suite or, in one case, dedicated bathrooms, an amenity very welcome with a full house of people. The combination kitchen living area with its beach facing porch was enjoyable for all. The pool area is well set up for hanging out and enjoying fresh water. In cooler temperatures it would be advisable to request it be heated. Everything was as clean as could be. The kitchen had better than average utensils, etc. Beach towels provided. We college girlfriends had a memorable stay. Thanks, Marty!

"Hands down", one of the best vacations ever!!

This was the first time that my husband and I, our kids and grandkids shared our vacation together! It was a huge hit! My grandkids want us to "buy the property" because it was "hands down", their favorite Florida vacation ever! We stayed two weeks, and we never ran out of things to do! My kids were amazed at the privacy of our pool and beach areas! We ALL appreciated the beach chairs, boogie surf boards, pool floats and beach towels! So much more was provided than we expected! We were also able to view a rocket launch (from Kennedy Space Center) from our personal walkway one evening! Between that, the sea turtles, the fort in St. Augustine, the tide, the sea "critters" that washed ashore...the kids learned so much! It was a vacation that none of us will ever forget!

Bug issue

The place was really nice except there was definintely a bug issue throughout the house. I did call them to let them know that we were getting ready to check out and let them know about the bug issue. They stated next time to call them immediately and the would send someone out to spray the house. I do know that they were sending someone over that day to spray the house.

Family Fun

This property was perfect for us! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms, gorgeous view, most beautiful swimming pool, soft sandy beach and absolutely stunning sunrises! We struggle to find a spot suitable for the family - we have 2 autistic grandkids and they struggle in over-stimulated resorts, but the rest of us like the excitement and new friendships. This was a perfect combination. Kids could swim in the pool, the beach sand and water soothed the anxiety in our special kids and we were able to make connections at the beach! This sounds weird, but the Dollar Store right across from the sub have the nicest, most helpful employees! And they have almost everything you need. A trip has to be made to the Oasis - upstairs dining and order the alligator tail! We enjoyed every moment at the house, every minute on the beach, every second in the pool. It felt comfortable, like we were home. And - you couldn't beat the sunrises!

Perfect Vacation Home for Large Groups

Our recent stay at this beautiful VRBO rental on St. Augustine beach exceeded all our expectations. With a group of 10 adults, we celebrated the week of July 4th in comfort and style. The house offers a spacious and thoughtfully designed layout, accommodating everyone with ease.The highlight for many of us was the stunning pool—crystal clear, inviting, and perfect for relaxing days under the Florida sun. Just a few steps beyond the backyard, we found ourselves on the sandy shores of the Atlantic, making it effortless to enjoy morning walks by the ocean or spontaneous swims throughout the day.The location is truly ideal. Nestled in a quiet, friendly neighborhood yet conveniently close to local attractions, restaurants, and historic downtown St. Augustine, we had the best of both worlds: peaceful beachside living and access to vibrant city life.Inside, the house was spotless and well-equipped with every amenity we could need. The kitchen was stocked for group meals, the living areas were comfortable for gathering, and each bedroom provided a restful retreat after busy days. Little touches—like plenty of towels, beach gear, and reliable Wi-Fi—made our stay even more enjoyable.In short, this property was the perfect home base for our holiday. We’re already dreaming of coming back, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable group getaway by the sea. Five stars!

Great first stay @Butler Beach

Designed to be a family Christmas with people coming together from several locations. Despite the cold spell the house offered great beach access and ocean views. House was spacious offering plenty of room for people to relax and spend time together. Appreciated the cable access in different rooms (and levels), and for food planning with many people very much appreciated the 2nd refrigerator. Great location to St Augustine and easy enough drive up to Ponte Vedra. Desired location we may return with other families in tre future for beach vacation.

Wonderful family week

Everything was even better then expected. It was wonderful having our own pool right outside our door and the almost private beach just a short walk down our own boardwalk. It was the first time since thanksgiving of 2019 that the 13 of us have been together. Everything was great, the rooms, bathrooms, 5 full, 2 half, were very clean and stocked. The view from the upstairs deck was spectacular. Thank you for everything.
