"Central location"

"Lovely all round hotel in a great location for restaurants, supermarket and buses. Hill is steep, so less mobile might struggle. Good car parking right outside, and EV charging by harbour. Pool clean though chilly and even though temperatures were high 20s and full hotel not used, plenty of sunbeds with pool towels. Only negative no hair conditioner or body lotion, no ice bucket and no fridge. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast."

"Positives: The apartments are in a very convenient location above the bus station in central St. Helier. This makes it easy to travel around the island. The kitchen had all amenities needed for our stay and it is located close to shops to buy food. Staff were also friendly. Negatives Although the apartment was overall clean, the cot (for which we had to pay for) had stains all over it. We also stayed in a town-facing apartment. These have no soundproofing meaning you can hear everything...

"The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. It was hot outside so the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a car the Pomme D'Or does not have its own car park. You have to use the car park of a sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away."

"We had a wonderful week. The staff were, without exception, always cheerful very helpful and obliging. The spa area was fantastic, I had a lovely massage! The location of the hotel is second to none - the bus station just around the corner. Unfortunately the price of drinks and food in the hotel was prohibitive even dearer than other restaurants in St Helier."

"A lot of scaffolding all around the building , blocking out all sea views from the lounge and dining areas. Very noisy in the morning. We only booked this hotel because of its position and views and although we were told that their price did reflect this , we would not have booked if we had known"

"Hotel was clean though a bit tired. We paid extra for a pool view. Breakfasts were good, good selection and could request porridge, scrambled eggs etc which we did. Staff very helpful and nice to have a pool. One of our party was vegan and was accommodated with food."

"Lovely hotel, bit pricey but was rated 5* although needed few tweaks. Bathroom floor tiles cracked. Tiny toiletries had to ask for more shower gel. Apart from that room lovely, large, great bed, great aircon especially as we were there in crazy hot weather. Not a brilliant view though. Helpful staff. Breakfast great. Tricky to find hotel entrance."

"We think that this is a really nice hotel. The food in the bar was excellent. It’s in a good location for exploring St Helier and beyond. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had great room with lots of windows which was great but we stayed during a very hot spell of weather. The fan in the room was totally inadequate, we did ask for and were given another fan. From talking to another guest we became aware that there is a sister hotel with shared facilities. It would have been good to...

"There are a lot of stairs so if your mobility is limited it’s not for you"

"The hotel was right on the beach which was easily accessible via steps. The sand really was golden and fine, perfect for kids. Breakfast was very good. The view from our room was great, looking over the entire bay. We kept our windows open at night to hear the waves and feel the breeze. There was no air conditioning so this was necessary on hot days."

"A marvellous chateau style hotel. Loved walking into the place with its great staircase. A bit of a distance from the the coast although a shuttle bus is provided. Good food and helpful staff….could change the menu a bit more often. Bedrooms were clean, spacious and well maintained."

"Sehr gut direkt am Strand gelegenes hübsches Hotel mit Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, um die ganze Insel zu erkunden. Das Hotel ist selbst ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles sehr sauber und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich. Gute Auswahl beim Frühstück und Möglichkeit, dort auch das Abendessen oder einen Drink einzunehmen."
