"traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples."

"Our stay at Hell Fyre was a delight. We were warmly welcomed by Louise, to find a well-stocked kitchen, and a warm and comfortable home. The period character of the house made this a special holiday for us. We stayed for three weeks, and were pleased to be able to extend our stay a bit – we so enjoyed living here. We walked the local pathways to villages close by. The location made it easy to take day trips to numerous castles, houses and gardens, and if we were ever at a loss for something...

"We had a great stay here as a group of 10 friends over Easter weekend. Lovely area to cook, eat and play games, with lots of nice walks close by. The house is charming and quirky in the best way."

"Second time I've stayed and is my, 'Go to' when working in West Sussex.
Paddy the owner is very organised, the apartment spotlessly clean, on site parking directly outside the apartment, a couple of minutes off the motorway.
