"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"We really enjoyed our stay and it was absolutely amazing value for what we paid. But here is some more detail;
It is a lovely characterful building with lots of free parking and lovely gardens which had deer you can see every day from the large conservatory you eat in or the lounge area. Free good WiFi.
It is quite noisy with planes going over every few minutes in peak times. We quite liked to see them so it didn't bother us really.
We had the exexutive suite which was a lovely roomy room...

"The hotel was ok. The problem is they do not have enough staff hired. I booked with Expedia and I could not find anyone to assist me as I was unable to check in. Everything was self checkout and I required assistance because the booking reference required a check in code that only people who book directly on the site can obtain. I finally found a staff member after 10 minutes of waiting. Even the staff in the kitchen were understaffed. I did not bother eating at the restaurant and walked...

"Hotel claimed not to have been paid by Expedia, billed me a second time on check-in. So I ended up paying twice.
Now Expedia and the hotel are blaming each other, neither is being helpful processing my £200.70 refund. Frankly both organizations have absolutely abysmal customer service, really don't care about their customers. The hotel manager was pretty rude and offensive too.

"It was a nice place to stay before our long flight the next day. Comfortable, nice food in the restaurant. Although the shuttle to the airport wasn't free was worth it to be dropped at the departure gates."

"I loved the bar and restaurant staff, super friendly and surprisingly good food in the restaurant.
The rooms has great cold AC (rare in Europe for some reason). The Rooms are a bit dated but the beds are comfortable and a comfortable size as well.
Complaints? The pool in the picture is a wellness center next door and is paid, not a free amenity. Everything in here aside from the bar itself seems to close really early..."
