"This is such a cool hotel in a very fun walkable art neighborhood. Art everywhere and cute little places to eat. The rooms are very unique and well equipped. "

"Really affordable, right in the middle of downtown so we got to walk around everywhere without worrying we’re too far from the hotel. Only complaint is noise. You are right off a somewhat busy downtown road, which is fine but some cars are particularly very loud. Random noises throughout the night in 2 out of 3 days of staying. Could be situational, since we went during the No Kings/Fathers day weekend. For the price and convenience of location, definitely worth it, even with the noises. "

"Picked it because the hotel didn’t charge a pet fee and it was centrally located in Asheville. Room was fine but I didn’t care for the small room size nor did I care for the layout."

"I’m sorry this rating only goes to 5 stars cause the place rates a 10. This place is customer focused from the time you car pulls up until you check out. The facility is a resorted 8 or 9 story office building built in 1926. They have kept the theme of the building but added 21st century convenience to the rooms and public areas. Every staff member had a smile and truly wanted to know if you were enjoying your stay. The location is perfect for exploring Asheville’s food scene. "

"We decided to stay at this historic property vs normally staying outside of Asheville and it did not disappoint! The location is central to all that downtown Asheville has to offer within a few short steps. The property was beautiful and we appreciated the charming touches from the old department store. The rooms were perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of space, a large bathroom with an additional sink area outside the bathroom as well as a wet bar, and a rollaway was provided too. The...

"Tastefully decorated, modern and ideally located within walking distance of everything downtown. Our room was very nice for a 5 night stay; we did note that the bathroom seemed to lack a fan. Otherwise clean and serviced every day. Breakfast was excellent and the service on all levels was friendly and efficient."

"We liked its proximity to downtown, and the bed was very comfortable. The HVAC unit in the room was on the border of being too noisy, and the bar was lacking basic mixtures for cocktails."

"Overall, a very pleasant stay. I recommend bringing a sponge and extra dish towels for washing dishes -- OR bring tabs and wash in the DW everyday. I liked the fitness center - small but had all the things I needed. Very close walking distance to grocery stores. I recommend it!"

"This house is absolutely stunning! Original owner was friends with Vanderbilt and supposedly used some of the same craftsmen to build this home. The finish work is UN-BE-LIEVABLE! Beautiful and comfortable common areas, porch. Convenient parking for unloading, clean room, awesome inn-keeper. "
