"From the beginning, communication was excellent. Finding where our unit was straight forward with the map they provided. The unit were very clean and well set up. There are some cooking essentials provided in the kitchen and enough plates and glasses for up to 6. Beds were quite comfotable.The path to the beach is well maintained, although you need to be very aware of your bearings for returning as there is very little to indicate were the path is when coming back from the beach. "It is a very special place to stay. Very quite and safe. Also, Brian was great about solving any problems that came up during our stay. You do need a car while staying there, though."

"Stayed July 3–5, 2025 with my wife via VRBOWe had a fantastic stay at Bolstad West for the holiday weekend. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....

"Second year staying here with family. Great location to beach and other activities. Including the state park where other family were staying. Check in was seem less and facilities great for group of six (three adults and three children). Host is wonderful to work with."

"The house is in a wonderful location to walk to anywhere in town, and has great river views. I was very impressed with how clean and organized it he space was. Lots of thoughtful details in the living room of furniture pieces with multiple uses. Communication with the hosts was also prompt. Love having a little green space around the property as well. "

"Simple, clean with everything we needed in the kitchen. We had our dog, and there is really nothing a dog could ruin, which was perfect. We used the firepit in the pretty backyard. The beach was maybe 3 minutes by foot down the street. Now, if you want fancy stuff and major streaming services, etc., this wont be you place, but if you want big sky and back to basics it's a great spot. "Town"(Westport?) is about 6 miles down the road. "

"We brought my mother-in-law for an overnight, as the beach is her most favorite place, and to kick-off celebrating her up and coming 80th birthday! Our hosts made check-in and out easy, and the condo is exactly as listed with probably the best stocked kitchen we have experienced while staying in a Vrbo get away. Sunsets are amazing right from the balcony! Will most definitely stay longer next time."

"We had a wonderful time with friends. It was a short drive to every place we wanted to go. Jack's Mercantile was amazing and we enjoyed the Cranberry Museum. Being elderly, next time we'll get a two bathroom place. The door lock was a challenge at times. We were able to relax and I didn't do any yard work which needed attention."

"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."
