"The staff was not friendly at all. Check in was extremely difficult, it states that there’s a front desk to check in at, but in fact, there’s no front desk at all. You need to WhatsApp message a number in order to get the codes, and they didn’t respond for a long time. We were stuck sitting outside for 2 hours with our luggage. Additionally, they still falsely advertise the property as a “bed and breakfast” but there’s no breakfast. Lastly, they are not accommodating at ALL if you need a late...

"A lovely smaller hotel on the edge of the sea, right in the old village area. Plenty of dining and shopping in walking distance, including across the street. The staff was attentive and kind, and helpful to travelers speaking English, French, and of course Italian (maybe others, too!). Breakfasts were creative and different every day. "Perfectly placed in the heart of the village, this hotel delivers a surprisingly delightful mix of comfort, charm, and clever design. The blend of old stone and modern touches works so well that you start wondering why every hotel is not built this way. "I absolutely loved my stay in the Palazzo Villelmi! I splurged and stayed in the largest room on the top floor that has a view of Rocca di Cefalù, the Cathedral-Basilica, and the town square. The rooftop terrace is charming, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, the bed and pillows are very comfortable, the shower is awesome, and the towels are very soft.
I’m really glad that I brought effective earplugs because the town square is very noisy until late at night.
