"Perfect location, close to many of the things on our to do list.Beautifully appointed with everything we needed, wood fire made it very cosy just what we needed after the days adventures in chilly June plenty of wood provided.. The peace & quiet was exactly what we were looking for & this property delivered. Beautiful sunrises complete with a visit from the local wildlife a family of Kangaroos. Our host Barry was great with communication & directions for our stay. Everything went smoothly...

"I've stayed at Evenstar multiple times and always love our stay. It's a cosy granny flat that is well equipped for you to relax for a few days or use as a base to explore the area. Olwen keeps the house well maintained and stocked. Plenty of essential oil products to use, great coffee machine with beans. Kitchen is stocked with all sorts of tea and coffee. Plenty of cushions and blankets to really cosy up. Fire wood provided for the first night so you don't need to think, just light a fire and...

"Home away from home experience. Very comfortable lounge to recline, wonderful bed. Close walking distance to cafe & interesting shops. Also close to bushwalking area. I’ll be back. "

"Lovely, cosy, homely suite and so good we could cook for ourselves or easily access eateries in the Main Street! Very quiet location and my husband enjoyed setting and tending the wood fire and chopping kindling but it could have been a more efficient fire place! Also the dish washer was not working! But we did love its uniqueness with mezzanine level and ferns visible in the upper windows!"

"An excellent property for 2 couples to relax in for the weekend with an event in Katoomba and a free Sunday in the mega long valley. Very well appointed house is luxurious & homely. "The house was very comfortable and provides everything anyone would need. Individual heaters in each room made it great for individual preferences. We found it a too far for a walk into town. Thanks"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Lavender House - it's very convenient, only a 10-15 minute walk into Katoomba but also on the quieter side and away from the Easter crowds. The cottage is lovely and quiet - we'd love to go back in Winter and use the fire!"

"My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. It's very well equipped, with a wonderful peaceful garden. The interiors are very homey and has everything you need for a stay in the Blue Mountains.Only downside is that there is not a lot of parking on the property, and off street parking is a little tricky. There was also some broken glass on the carpet in the dining room when we arrived but it was easy enough to clean up."
