I was wondering why there was ear plugs next to the bed until I was woken up. No notice of construction on the site or even at front desk. For someone who travels very often if the hotel knows there is construction - they tell you. "

"I would never stay here again even though the hotel was excellent. The property is beautiful and clean. The staff were friendly and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The speak easy is fun with good cocktails. That said, the rooftop terrace is NOT a lounge. Instead it’s a full club from Thursday-Saturday night. We stayed on the 6th floor and I could hear every song played upstairs while taking a shower to get ready for dinner through trying to go to sleep with AirPods in noise...

"This historic property is beautifully maintained and centrally located near the mall and museums, Old Ebbit Grill and Joes Crab, among other eateries. Also, the Round Robin grill, named by Walt Whitman, offers good food and great drinks. It is only one of two bars in the US to ask me if I wanted my martini stirred or shaken. The suites are spacious and amentities fine."

Sin embargo, el hotel Darcy hizo honor a nuestro nombre y fue una excelente experiencia la que tuve con mi familia al quedarme allí. La habitación es preciosa y cómoda. Los anfitriones te hacen sentir en casa. Y, en mi caso en particular, el equipo del hotel fue más allá y me obsequió un set de merchandising con el brand Darcy que hasta ahora guardo en mi casa. "The front desk staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful! The rooms were clean and the pool was a good added touch for our stay. The only complaint I have was the food. The breakfast buffet was like having nothing because it wasn’t good at all. There’s alot of near by good restaurants so it wasn’t that bad of a deal. Def would stay again! "

"We had such a poor experience at Pendry DC that we chose to email the General Manager directly, as we generally prefer not to air concerns publicly. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week without even an acknowledgment that our message was received. That lack of response speaks volumes. In hospitality, especially at this level, accountability and follow-through are non-negotiable. The experience itself was disappointing, but the absence of any response afterward is what ultimately stands...

"All things related to the property itself were good. Only mishap was poor handling regarding checkout time frame. We agreed on a late checkout but I was called just before regular checkout time informing they couldn't honor it. Not professional!"
