  • There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area, including golf, fishing, walking and cycling.. Ground Floor:

    Open plan living space.

    Living area: Freeview TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Sofa Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only)

    Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Fridge, Washing Machine

    Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Use of owner’s freezer available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. 1 small dogs welcome. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Peaceful holiday setting. Set to the rear of the owner’s home, with views over open fields to the side, in a peaceful location yet only a short distance of the popular seaside resort of Skegness, lie Ashington Holiday Cottages (refs 29130, 29131 and UKC2370). They provide well-appointed, comfortable, detached accommodation. The traditional holiday resort of Skegness is well known for its sandy beaches, seal sanctuary, Gibraltor Point Nature Reserve and fun fair. There are two excellent 18-hole links golf courses nearby at North Shore and Seacroft, with fishing lakes throughout the area one of which is just ½ mile away. The region offers good walking and cycle routes, with the Lincolnshire Wolds and the market towns of Louth and Alford nearby. Horncastle, best known for its numerous antique shops, is about 25 minutes’ drive. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.

    Oak Cottage (ref 29130), Hawthorne Cottage (ref 29131) and Willow Cottage (ref UKC2370) can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

Everything was just about PERFECT with the exception of the speeding traffic on Everingtons Lane.

Everything was just about PERFECT with the exception of the speeding traffic on Everingtons Lane. Despite there being 30MPH signs on the road side it was quite common to see traffic driving along at double the limit. I felt frightened whilst walking with my dog particularly in the early morning. Very pleasant outlook to the rear watching the horses and rabbits. Extremely well equipped inside the property I would highly recommend this holiday property to anyone thinking of taking a break in the Skegness area

This is a lovely, clean and comfortable cottage.

This is a lovely, clean and comfortable cottage. On the outskirts of Skegness, it is surrounded by fields - the patio doors in the bedroom open onto a patio and an enclosed lawn, and beyond that is a field with horses - and lots of rabbits. Lovely and peaceful.
