Hotels a Silverdale, Hamilton

"Very clean, well equipped and best of all, comfortable beds."

"The property was exactly as described, clean , nice beds , hot water , excellent location , old building , great car park , probably a good 3 star . An exhibition was on 3000 people in the city so prices unusually high but if normal pricing it would reflect great value"

"Nice place to stay, but very noisy building."

"very tidy and great service"

"A huge thank you to the Owner/Manager, who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We were very grateful to be offered an early check-in and late check-out, which made a world of difference. My father had just turned 90 and had undergone surgery, and we were travelling down from Auckland. "Quirky hotel with comfy beds and rooms, quiet and peaceful"

"I suppose good value for the cost however I wouldn’t go back. There were lights on all night outside the rooms and the curtains didn’t block it so quite a nuisance. Also the facilities in the kitchen were lacking. The only way to prepare food was with a microwave so quite limiting."

"This is a very run-down vintage hotel, whose heritage values are overshadowed by years of neglect. We were struck by musty carpets, flaking plaster and paint, and shredded curtain linigs. The shower over the bath is a danger for elderly clients getting in and out. The room seemed too large for the heat pump to warm adequately. Internal calls to reception were never answered or returned. Parking on the hotel's premises is a real problem. While this is advertised as available, on arrival we were...

"good"

"All is good, improvement on communication on people arriving after working hours"

"Our stay at the Camelot was lovely and the staff we dealt with before and when we arrived were excellent. The entire room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom facilities were very good. Loved the fact that the room we stayed in was very quiet. I would highly recommend this motel to family and friends."
