"The Quiet Cottage, also known as Stolhammer Hus, is the perfect base to explore the Mesabi Bike Trail and the Range. The house is very clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Great screened in porch, as well as a deck that has you sitting in the woods. The host is great, very accessible and helpful with local recommendations. I would highly recommend the Quiet Cottage in the Woods!"

"The property is very nice, very clean, very quiet and pleasant. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots and pans. The bed is comfortable, and the view from the kitchen table looking out over the lake is beautiful. We hate to leave!"

"The Lazy Pines Hideaway was absolutely perfect for our family’s last summer getaway! There are activities for every possible situation from board games and puzzles to a boat, paddle board and floating dock! The space is beautiful and the lake was quiet and peaceful! We will definitely stay again!"

"Very nice house, clean, and easy with nice backyard and lots of room and amenities! Everything was just as represented by the owner. Such a nice house with a great setup. Cook is an awesome small community! Wonderful breakfast and lunch options at coffee shop downtown. Cool theater which we have went to before but it was closed when we were in town. Clean grocery store. Moosebirds ice cream up the road! What could be better?!? "

"Worked perfect for a couple night stay, easy check in, very clean.If you have mobility issues be aware that the property is on the 2nd floor of an older apt bldg and requires the use of stairs."

"Property was as advertised. Communication with owner and owner’s son was excellent. We enjoyed renting the pontoon boat from the owner’s son Jared and our conversation about the area including fish hot spots and dining spots. Did use the sauna which was nice. "

"Beautiful 2bed 1 bath, very quiet and comfortable for our 8 night,9 day stay. I highly recommend and will stay there again"

"We loved EVERYTHING about this property! It was quiet and secluded. The house was fantastic. It was clean and roomy. The kitchen/bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. The game room was a HUGE hit for all the kids. The lake lot acess was also a favorite for the kids and adults! Kayaks and paddle boats were put to good use. We had a few first timers for fishing, (we used the fishing rods provided, and bought some crawlers for bait) and the lake didnt disappoint. We caught sun...
