"A well presented country Inn in secluded location. Excellent large room ( Oak) a very relaxing stay."

"Great stay! Was upgraded to nicer room on arrival. Comfy beds, lux bathroom, tea/coffee and fresh baked cookies - heaven! Walked to Amberley Black Horse pub for drinks & snacks (and board games) then back to hotel for their 5 course tasting menu - most enjoyable! "

"We had a fantastic stay at The White Horse Inn. Lovely small hotel, v friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Highly recommend it. "

"Staff are fabulous with Gemma and Lottie as standouts. I got my favorite room whilst a little noisy at closing time is great with a great bed. The breakfast are great especially smoke salmon and scrambled egg. Sunday lunch is amust"

"Great hotel with pub and restaurant, in a tudor building from the 1700s. The staff were excellent, super friendly and gave me a lot of information about the area, things to do. Only drawback is that due to the age of the building there was a bit of noise from other rooms"

"We had a wonderful stay at Ockenden Manor, the staff are lovely, service in the restaurant is excellent and very friendly. Shout out to the chef, each dish was beautifully presented and so delicious. We enjoyed every course and then took a walk around the gorgeous gardens. Our room (Luke) was spacious, beautifully decorated with views over the gardens and the bed super comfy. Relaxing in the spa and time around the outdoor pool made for a perfect mini break. We hope to return soon! "

"In spite of the naysayers and other poor reviews we approached our stay here with open minds and hearts - and we weren't disappointed! I will accede that the immediate area around the building itself looks a little unkempt and unloved but if you look beyond that to the property and the facilities it's a very different ball game! Everything inside was clean, the reception area, bar, restaurant and the room, which was surprisingly spacious with a nice comfy bed and a nice, bright, clean bathroom....

"The Arlington served the best hotel breakfast that I have ever experienced! All breakfast items were of a high quality and really tasty. Service was amazing and the rooms were comfortable. Parking is a challenge but this goes for most seaside hotels."

"Just an overnight stop, but good to find a pet free hotel in the area. For people with serious allergies, these are hard to find. The staff were very attentive from reception to waiter staff who served us in the morning with lovely smiles We both had cooked breakfast..not to be missed..Hold on to that chief"
