"The Reed room was very nice with fireplace, jetted tub and private Mountain View. It is a grand old lady so u do hear footsteps and noise above and around but for the most part it was a nice stay. Breakfast was great and staff very pleasant."

Staff was helpful when asked about places to eat nearby.

"We only stayed one night. The Inn had not opened for the season yet. It is still recovering from hurricane Helene as is all of Lake Lure. Therefore, there was no dining available. We only encountered one staff person. The reception desk young woman, who was extremely courteous and accommodating. She even offered to take our bags upstairs to our room since the elevator was out of commission. Would definitely return again when everything is in operation."

"Love this property, but has slipped a bit. Not as clean as usual, and starting to show some wear. Shower was not 100% clean and shower head would not work well. Carpets are getting quite worn.
Love the room set up and very comfy beds. Staff is awesome."

"Room "looked" clean, but I saw 2 cockroaches as soon as I turned on the bathroom light. Then, there was another one when I pulled back the bed covers under the covers. Then later on I saw 2 more crawling up the wall behind the TV. They definitely need to bomb for them.
Chair smelled like dog. Probably need to shampoo both the rug and the chair.
Breakfast was good tho. And it was cheap. But I won't be back. "
