"Fabulous hotel. Clean fresh beautifully decorated rooms. Relaxing ambiance. Huge bathrooms fluffy towels and great shower. Bed so comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of home made cakes and sweets. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all wonderful. Highly recommend, we will return! "

Nos alojamos en el edificio principal, que es precioso, y aunque antiguo, está muy bien conservado,con todas las comodidades.

"El Hotel es una auténtica maravilla!!! Lo primero que me sorprendió positivamente fue la atención recibida en recepción por los dos chicos que había (un chico español, Manuel, y otro chico inglés que no recuerdo su nombre).
La habitación muy bonita, limpia y ordenada con salida directa al jardín. Y además pude disfrutar de la piscina, el spa, la terraza exterior y el gimnasio. Súper súper!!! Muchas gracias!!! Para repetir mil veces"

"I was very nervous because it was my first overseas trip in a long time, but the staff were very kind and treated me and my son well. I stayed here to go to Highclere Castle, and they arranged a taxi for us, which was very helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Newbury. Thank you very much."

"Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off."

"Had a really lovely stay at the Queen's Arms for one night. Two of our party had dogs and the outside rooms were ideal with a safe area for feeding them and a nice sitting area for us. Footpath from the pub made walking them easy without the need to drive anywhere. The thing that stood out even more than the great food and very comfortable clean rooms was the very lovely staff and great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast too. We will return. "

I had to work overnight and the gentleman at night desk went above and beyond to help me with an additional TV screen and a place to work at. Simply unbelievably helpful and way beyond my expectations. My wife and kid had a great time in the gardens. I highly recommend this place if you´re out to get some relaxation."
