The outside of the property was beautiful although a lot of the items for the water had holes in them so we were able to use them. We didn’t feel like the description accurately fit the place inside. There was definitely not enough plates and utensils for 8 people and the bunk beds were not safe, my 6 year old was able to lift the bed up and move it. We ended up needing to buy a lot of stuff in order to cook for 8 people (pans and such). We understand this is also the renters home however the lack of control we had as people paying over 2000 for a week was a bit ridiculous. We were looking forward to this location and unfortunately were very much let down based on what we read from the description. There’s no screens on the windows downstairs so when we opened the windows to cool down the place, because we couldn’t use the AC below what they had it set at, the bugs flew in. On one of the nicest days we were there, someone came to spray for mosquitoes and we had no warning. My son was in the water and I had to bring him inside and we weren’t allowed out for a while and when we were, we had to stay away from the trees. We also had a 2 year old there so you can imagine how hard this was. The fridge wasn’t working properly so we ended up having to keep our stuff in coolers. Hopefully going forward others don’t have the same issues.

Okay place, but a few missed expectations

The cottage was clean and matched the photos— though the polished concrete floors on the main level might not appeal to everyone and don’t quite feel “luxurious.” The bedrooms were comfortable, the BBQ grill worked well, and there was plenty of parking space, which was convenient for our group.The lake frontage was beautiful and the water was calm — perfect for relaxing. However, the 3 kayaks mentioned in the listing were not accessible during our stay, which was disappointing since that was a key reason we chose this place. Also, be sure to check out on time — there's a late check-out fee, and the host strictly enforces it.Overall, a decent stay with some good features, but a few missed expectations.

Birthday weekend away

We found this property while looking for a cottage close to some golf courses to take my mom away for her birthday. Found this property during our search and it looked beautiful. The property did not disappoint. Great water frontage and very nice/modern home. Would definitely recommend and book again. Fantastic for our family and dogs.

Great stay

Had a great stay at this cottage. Host was very helpful and prompt to respond to questions. Property was clean and lots of activities for everyone. The lake was easy to get in and out of. Would recommend to others looking for a nice quiet vacation.

Not a luxury property

Property has only been surface cleaned - fridge was very dirty with left over food, smoke detector was broken, dishwasher wasn’t installed properly so it falls out of the wall whenever there are dishes in it. No bath mats, cutlery was bought at the dollar store - no hot water in the kitchen, host was quick to respond but never rectified any issues. If you are looking for true luxury - this place is not it.

Excellent property and service!

My family and I rented the cottage from Fri to Mon... we had a blast. The cottage has a modern feel/decorating. We enjoyed having two bathrooms. The cottage feels large with the two levels so lot's of space for everyone. The linens are top notch! The water entry is sandy and you can wade out quite a ways! We used the kayaks, fire-pit, BBQ and more. Chelsea was very responsive and kind. I would highly recommend!

Stayed over the long Victoria day weekend

Clean property, kitchen has all utensils, new washer and dryer. Towels provided with extra linens if needed. There is a kayak and 2 inflatables boats with paddles which was a nice surprise. Kids and dogs enjoyed themselves. Chelsea was nice and very responsive.
