We had a good stay in the water view cottage. Beautiful lake, free kayaking. Public area and the beach are small and can be crowded. In need of a better beddings. Staff are very helpful and would help where they can. You have to drive to everything.

It is expensive for quality of facilities offerd

The lake, boats and facilities for beach area were in good condition, however the cottage was not ready for visitors, with air cooling failing and electrical connections not working.

Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles

The furniture wasn't comfortable at all and the one couch was ripped and the furniture and ladder is definitely not made for heavier people. Kids running around until 2am. My kettle caught on fire... which they replaced but no apologies. Also, i booked 3 nights and after 1 night i had to show my receipt that i was there for 3 nights. Overall everything was very clean but its not a place for me for what i paid.

The door lock was broken, and a dirty pillow was brought when asked for an extra pillow. The fridge handle was broken off and wasn't replaced! The futon was very dirty when we lifted it. It was full of hair and unknown crumbs. Toys were there, looked like never cleaned up for a while.

Caretaker too pushy

From other negative reviews, it seems that the owner's response has often been that they could not find the reservation. I can assure you we were actually there, and our review is based on firsthand experience. **Positives:** 1. **Charming Atmosphere:** The lodge had a really nice, cozy, and inviting ambiance. The decor was cute and added to the overall charm of the place. 2. **Cleanliness:** The lodge was impeccably clean, which made for a comfortable and pleasant stay. 3. **Beautiful Lakeview:** The view of the lake was stunning and provided a peaceful backdrop for our visit. 4. **Lovely Dock:** The dock for fishing and kayaking was really nice and beautiful, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. **Negatives:** 1. **Persistent Request for Reviews:** One downside was that the caretaker persistently asked us to leave a Google review. It became a bit intrusive and took away from our otherwise relaxing experience. 2. **Uncertainty with Security Cameras:** The presence of security cameras around the property was somewhat concerning. We were unsure if they had audio capabilities, which made us feel uneasy about our privacy, particularly during private conversations. 3. **Sketchy Wiring:** Some of the wiring around the property looked really sketchy and potentially unsafe.
