"This was an excellent location for us while we attended our son's wedding at Newport Vineyards, and the rehearsal dinner the night before at Diego's Middletown. The front desk staff was helpful in getting us checked in a little earlier that the 3:00 check-in time. The room was pleasant, and very clean throughout the hotel. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Dining Room manager, Jill, was exceptional. She was pleasant, friendly and helpful. "

"We LOVE the Atlantic Beach Hotel! My family has stayed here many times over the years, and every visit is great. Super convenient location in Middletown - right across the street from Eastons Beach, and close to all the main attractions in Newport, while being far enough away to not feel crowded. Free parking as part of your stay! The Main Building has comfortable, spacious rooms (some with town& water views), a beautiful indoor pool and an awesome outdoor sun deck (perfect for sunsets!). The...

"We love this hotel. Across the street from the beach and some restaurants, you can walk to the Cliffwalk and the hot tub on the roof with the fire pit is such a treat. The staff is really friendly. The gym is nice and the breakfast is simple but good. I just wish people would respect the rules and don’t drink/smoke on the roof and the hot tub. The indoor pool and adjacent hot tub are really nice as well. Both buildings are nice!! We will keep coming back! "

"We had at first not considered Middletown as the area we wanted to stay, but weren't able to find accommodation elsewhere. How wrong we were! This area and in particular, this hotel was perfect for what we needed after a full day in Newport. The second floor room had a balcony which was an added plus, the room itself was well designed with a sofa and desk, microwave and frig. The bathroom was a bit old and small, but no real complaints can be made. The free breakfast in the morning was great....

"Das Haus war sehr gepflegt. Das Zimmer geräumig u sauber, die Bettmatratze sehr angenehm und das Bad sehr sauber. Wir haben auf der Terrasse genossen. Die Empfangsdame war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt "

"The Attwater was a beautiful hotel, in the heart of Newport, but on a quiet sidestreet that made it easy to relax. The staff was wonderful and very helpful when answering my many questions. I highly recommend it and hope to stay there again in the future!"

"We loved Gilded. It seemed as though it was taken from another beautiful, quiet time. It was convenient and the home cooked breakfast were amazing! Katey could not have been sweeter or more helpful. Everything was PERFECT!!"

"We had a great stay at Mill Street Inn! The property is in such a great location - walking distance to SO many things, but still lovely and quiet location. We had one of the duplex townhouses that had a balcony which was amazing! Loved having breakfast delivered each morning and sitting out on the balcony enjoying the great weather! Can’t recommend enough! "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. The room was very clean. My only wish is that there was an actual refrigerator in the room and not the beverage cooler. It doesnt quite cool down to the fridge temp,and therefore doesnt hold food well"

"Convenient location, friendly staff. Wonderful little restaurant called Picnic at the end of the street. Just park your car and walk to many locations, no need to fuss with expendive Newport parking and traffic. Very comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet room."

"Francis Malbone House is an oasis in the hubbub of downtown Newport. All the wharves are easily walkable. It was less than 15 minutes to walk to the Elms. On site parking is a huge bonus. Daily breakfast is always delicious. But the best thing about this inn is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. "
