"I paid over $500 for a room that was in a terrible condition. It was not clean, there were hairs on my pillow, covers had stains, the floor was not vacummed or cleaned. Also, we had a rental that was expensive and i had to be afraid to leave it outside. The manager mentioned not to leave anything valuable in the car. No breakfast or coffee. Basically you dont get anything…i would not recommend this hotel."

The hotel was a little out dated but the room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The location is near places to eat, the beach, and grocery stores. The staff was super friendly and helpful even with a hour later check out."

"This place is a scam dont go there. It says Motel 6 on the outside but they charge you 40 dollars per dog, 20 bucks to check in early and the front desk guy watches every move you make on camera 24/7. Absolute scam and gives Monterey a bad name. They DBA Vagabond Inn..a little sign in the window but on Expedia theres a different picture because its Motel 6. When I asked the front desk guy he explained something not any language Ive ever heard....just mumbled.... something....wow. Creepy,...

I didn't like the room on the first floor because you could hear all the noise from the hallway and from the upstairs room. The bed pillows were so flat and uncomfortable, the water in the tub didn't flow well and there was mold on the tiles. The egg at breakfast was bland."
