"Very conveniently located for the Newcastle beach area, shops and restaurants. Tram outside Watched the cargo ships and tug boats sailing in and out of the harbour from our balcony. Very peaceful area. Views to the beaches and bridge across the bay. Comfortable beds and living area. Loved the chairs and table on the balcony. "We loved our stay at the Punthill Maitland. We booked 3 rooms as we were attending a wedding. The motel was really clean and tidy and well maintained. Our rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and the beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and great. "

"This is a very new property, clean and fresh. Not too far from central business district. Would come back again. The collection of keys are right outside the building in the bike rack. Dont get lost or go anywhere else. "
