"We have stayed at this hotel several times before. It’s a great location in Eastbourne. The bed was clean and fresh and the breakfast very tasty. However, it is very tired. Our room was very disappointing- damp on the ceiling, one light fitting in the en-suite was hanging out of the ceiling and 2 other down lighting bulbs did not work. There was no heating in the room and it was needed. Also, there was no BBC on the very small and inefficient TV."

It was much smaller, I didn’t have a table and chairs (as shown in photos) I booked a double room with sea view, the bathroom, windows, door and walls were very tired and the work that had been done was not very well finished. "Very handy for congress theatre"

"This was an ok place to stay. No one was at reception when we arrived, so we were locked out. And we had a couple of other negative experiences with the staff. The room and breakfast were decent and it’s a nice location."
