"We got this house for a weekend getaway for my son 8th birthday . It’s a perfect house for a staycation . We loved the pool, volleyball was perfect for our family all we did was play games over and over . Loved they provided propane for the bbq pit and wood for the fire pit. "This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!"

"Our family took our 79 year old mom to see the painted churches. We all stayed at The Hideaway. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We all enjoyed spending time out on the porch just enjoying nature and family time. This place is so nice and clean and our host was very courteous and friendly. "This gem is tucked away in a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. The host is a great communicator and we felt like we were living our best life! Swimming in the private pool at sunset, every amenity and then some at our disposal and restful sleep. We enjoyed great proximity to museums, Austin and the cute town of Smithville. Would return for sure!"

"I rarely leave reviews, but this property deserves one. There were 4 of us staying at this amazing home...all friends. We needed a place to catch up and relax. This home is perfect for both of those things. The home, the amazing kitchen, pool, pond, and all of the amazing scenery made this a perfect property. All of our interaction with the host was perfect and from check-in to check-out it was seamless. "
