"The Hacienda was a really unique experience that was worth the adventure. Checkin was a breeze and welcoming with a smiling front desk employee. My room had lots of character and was very neat and tidy. The shower was a bit small but it fit in the space and was stylish and very functional.
I loved tue convenience of having a restaurant on site and the option of walking to other local restaurant options.
I would definitely stay here again."

"For what I paid I was not impressed. Stayed 3 nights never had maid service. One night we were out all day in Orlando came back no maid service and at midnight had to ask for clean towels. Downstairs beach bathroom had one stall with completely broken door jam preventing door from closing and locking. Outside Tiki bar was nice but the hotel has a big white shed in the middle of your view from the tables preventing u to see the ocean let alone the sunset. Was charged a Resort fee, but for...

"I liked it because it was clean. I didn't like it for several reasons. First I had a broken window that wouldn't hook locked. I reported it to the desk the first night. He didn't have the time or staff to fix it so I put wooden hangers to keep it from opening. The next morning I saw two maintenance men. "Howard Johnson goes back a long time. Always like the old world charm of the 50’s and 60’s styling. Only one small quirk was my shower knob did not work and it was broken. Fortunately it was stuck on a reasonable temperature to shower and used it as that. Breakfast was quite meager, very small lounge and limited food choices. But I assume it’s because of the limited space that had there. Overall it was alright and would go there again since my beach location in Clearwater was all but overbooked....
