"I really like the location and having our own home that was historic and quaint. 2 pianos, which were both enjoyed. Staying here , you connect with the locals. You feel part of the area- not a tourist. True immersion experience. Friendly area. Park and no need to drive. Walk everywhere for everything. Groceries , dining. Views. Met lots of people in the community. Very relaxing. Beautiful historical homes. Truly a beautiful area. Great space for a musician or writer to create or anyone who wants...

"The property was adorable. It was clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable and quaint. Comfortable beds and even fresh watermelon cut up when we arrived. If definitely go back for a girls weekend!"

"Great location in Marblehead with close proximity to beautiful coastline and good restaurants. Check out the Marblehead Pizza House of Pizza or the G Bar and Kitchen for great food. The host was very responsive and accommodating and the house was as advertised with a beautiful central kitchen. Thanks for a nice stay."

"The house is very well equipped and comfortable. There is no living room, so if you are wanting to watch a family movie or play video games or something--- not a great house for that. If you want a comfortable home that is in a great location at an affordable rate, this is the house for you. There are nice tvs in the living room and kitchen. "

"My family of four had a lovely stay here. The home is comfortable and clean, well appointed, and perfectly located. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. Our host was very responsive and helpful. When in Salem, we will want to stay here again. Highly recommend! (excellent book selection as well!)"

"Neighborhood felt safe and off street parking for two cars was great! Not enough towels in bathrooms or kitchen and oven took an eternity to preheat. Sofa bed in basement does not fold down, so only able to sleep one person. Location is just short of two miles from MBTA stop, so you'll want to plan accordingly. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house, but it served its purpose as a place to sleep when spending time in Boston over a long weekend!"

"We loved staying in this historic house — a rare treat! Our whole group, and the family who visited us, were so intrigued by the beamed ceilings, the wide floorboards, and the fireplaces. The location is excellent, very convenient for restaurants and site-seeing in Salem and surrounding towns. Our host was very responsive and super pleasant. I’d stay there again! It was an adventure. "
