"The room was very clean and the staff were friendly and took time to explain the history of the hotel. The furniture and carpets were dated but that was what can attract visitors to this particular hotel. Smartly thought out needs were met. The shower was incredibly powerful and hot. The room was spacious too."

"Overall everything was very good, unfortunately didn’t get to see the fireworks due to the cancellation. Didn’t have good water flow but as soon as I mentioned it to staff. They started immediately to fix it"

"Amazing property! Loved the complimentary bikes and wine tasting at one of their other properties- Pellar (which is next door). The staff was welcoming and helpful in making our stay perfect. The location was perfect- close to downtown and the bike route that runs beside the river and multiple wineries"

"We enjoyed the quaint atmosphere of the property, especially the fact that it looked “dated.” Living in a city like Toronto, we are used to seeing tall glass monstrosities, and we always appreciate seeing older architecture. We were not disturbed by anyone else. In fact, it felt like we were in the building alone. The amenities were nice, even though we didn’t use the common spaces. Instructions and information were clearly communicated, and we had no issues overall."

"Absolutely beautiful, the only thing that we did not like was how big the outside porch was. We sat out anyways. Also when I wet to iron my dress, I pressed the steam button and rust came out it did ruin my dress. The iron looked new. So who would have known. Everything else was picture perfect. I’m so glad I found this place. Would highly recommend it"

"The beds were comfortable and room was clean, but the shower curtain needs replaced or bleached because it had a light pink rim of pink mold at the bottom and towels were old and thin. The staff seemed nice. There weren’t any real amenities. They offered breakfast until 9am on the weekend, which I felt was an early end for breakfast on a weekend, so we weren’t able to take advantage of it. If you are looking for a basic room in a motel, it’s adequate."
