" We stayed there for 4 nights We received a not very clean apartment with minimal consideration Not even a single tea bag. The place does not provide a towel change service and for the entire period we only gave 2 rolls of toilet paper. The place is beautiful and nice"

"If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on! The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy. Walkable to everything in Montepulciano. "If you like a 360-degree view from the top of the hill, this is the place. Amazing views, out in the country with little traffic (more tractors than cars). Very private. We wanted to sit on the patio all day.The house is very comfortable and a good home base for sampling Brunello and visiting the Montalcino vineyards.Camilla was easy to communicate with before and during our stay."

"We had a luxurious time with friends and family for my wife's birthday. Local restaurants were great even in winter . Parking in Chiusi can be interesting. A memorable stay for all the right reasons"

"Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist katastrophal. Das Haus war nur teilweise gereinigt. 1 Bett im Obergeschoss war nicht frisch bezogen. Im Obergescgoss gab es keine Töpfe, keine Pfannen, keine Gläser kein Geschirr. In der Küche waren alle Schränke leer. Im Obergeschoss gab es 4 Tage kein heißes Wasser zum duschen. Die Toilettensvhüssel und das Waschbecken wackelten. Im Untergeschoss war die Kaffemascine verschimmelt. Die Couch und der Sessel waren durchgesessen und nicht benutzbar. Die Toilettenschüssel...

"Stefania’s property is amazing. The care taken of not only the rooms but the grounds around the property is fantastic. Stefania was a great host and responded very quickly. Would recommend Montorio to anyone if travelling through the Montepulciano area."

"We went with our granddaughter (2 years) and my son and girlfriend. The villa was in a great location in Tuscany if you want to be in the southern section. The villa is large, great for groups and has a lovely patio outlook. The dining living area has several French doors that open out to the patio/garden. There was one issue I raised with the owner regarding reliability of water pressure which I hope they addressed. The ‘host’ was super responsive. I’d stay again."

"Stayed for 2 days in May. Lovely place with friendly staff. Mickelo was very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed having breakfast with guests. The hotel restaurant is very good and just below the hotel. Rooms are huge and unique with beautiful art work on the walls and gorgeous ceilings. Right in the heart of town. You fall asleep to the sounds of bells. Would recommend for those that want a city experience."

"Lovely villa in southern Tuscany. The Val d'Orcia doesn't immediately have the big ticket charms of northern Tuscany but it does have plenty of lovely small villages and towns and Radicofani is one of them - a less well known gem with plenty of character and worth a visit. The villa was as billed - very pretty, clean and well equipped. I would give the whole experience 5/5 except the villa is down a very bumpy steep unmade track which damaged the suspension of my car. I did not see this...

"An der Unterkunft gibt es wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Alles ist so wie es auf den Bildern aussieht, die Landschaft um das Anwesen herum ist traumhaft, der wirklich große Pool ist immer sauber und das Haus insbesondere die Küche ist so gut ausgestattet wie ich es noch nie in einem Ferienhaus gesehen habe! Insgesamt eine 10/10, danke für den tollen Aufenthalt !"

"It was only for a week but living there was a pleasure. Nearby towns had lots of interesting places to visit and good restaurants. The house itself was well fitted especially the kitchen which suited self catering groups as there are no restaurants within walking distance for those who like to drink with their evening meal. We all enjoyed our stay."
