The main home features an open concept floor plan with over 2900 square feet of heated living space with air conditioning. Flooded with natural light, this Tesuque gem has a delightful chef’s kitchen, spacious living/dining areas, a separate media room and separate guest house.

The primary living space offers direct access to covered outdoor living areas with BBQ area, firepit and hot tub for guest enjoyment. The Master Suite has its own covered portal with large swing chair, a spacious walk-in closet, and an additional sitting room equipped with sleeper sofa and smart television. The master bath has a soaking tub, a lovely walk-in shower, and double sink vanity

The guest bedrooms are well separated from the master suite and share a three-quarter bath with authentic hand painted mexican tiles and custom local tin work.

The self-contained over 800 square foot guest house is a passive solar adobe structure with brick floors and rich wood vigas which features a livingroom, kitchen, full bathroom and bedroom.

This home is dog-friendly with an additional $150 fee for up to two dogs. Please note dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair found on the furniture may result in additional cleaning fees.

The name Tesuque is a Spanish variation of the Tewa name, Te Tesugeh Oweengeh, meaning the “village of the narrow place of the cottonwood trees.”

The historic Tesuque Village Market is a nice walk from the home and a local favorite for food, groceries and celebrity sightings. The home is only a five minute drive to the Santa Fe Opera House and only 8 minutes to the downtown Santa Fe Plaza.

The home is on a water well which sometimes takes time to refill after a large water use such as morning showers and a few loads of laundry. We kindly ask guests to please pace showers and water use to ensure continuous water flow to the home especially when staying with more than 5 guests. We have extra drinking water and gallons on site should it be needed.

The main house offers tailored cooling in each bedroom, with a mini-split in the master bedroom and window units in the guest rooms. Kindly note that there is no AC in the main living room or kitchen areas. The casita features a mini-split AC for your comfort.

The winters here can be rather snowy and we strongly recommend that guests have a 4WD or at least an AWD vehicle during the winter months.

The home is part of a quiet community, we ask that it is not rented for events, parties or celebrations. NO MORE THAN 10 GUESTS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS HOME
