"Great neighborhood. Safe environment. Awesome host"

"Apartment was beautifully decorated. Easy acess for wheelchair. All appliances was up to date. Only issue was internet and tv in the front of house. Barely any wifi service acess in the front but back of house had better signal. Spacious stay and communication with host was swift and easy."

"This is the second time i have stayed in this house, this time was glad to see more kitchen supplies and chairs by the pool. However the hot water did not work the whole 2 weeks of my stay, which i was very disappointed in also my last week there was no internet which left me feeling a little stranded. Would stay again if hotwater was fixed."

"The pictures do not give this Villa justice, it is beautiful! We had an amazing time there! We were looking for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we got!! Shamoir the cook was incredible! Sheryl was quick to respond to any questions we had! We will definitely go back!"

"To be clear, this is not a 5 star resort, but does provide a 5 star experience, and great value for your spend. To summarize:Connections - flawless. You call the driver by cell (or text) when you clear customs, and he's there almost immediately to pick you up. Think twice if you plan to rent a vehicle; the roads in many locations are terrible. It's about a 2 1/2 drive from the airport to Villa.Accommodations - the Villa itself is a little tired. Reminded us of a well used rental cottage. But...

"Our family had an amazing time! The house was gorgeous and spotless, and some days, we had the beach all to ourselves. The internet was top-notch. The house also has Netflix and board games as additional entertainment. The only suggestion I have is to put mosquito nets over the beds. We’d definitely come back again!"

"Get place to stay in Mandeville. Excellent privacy, quite area and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Place is clean and in good shap. Hands down would stay there again. "

"This vacation was truely my best vacation in Jamaica and I have been there numerous times. The host greeted us warmly and she wasted no time in giving us a tour of her castle. Subsequently, she introduced us to some Jamaican exoctic fruits and pastries .we enjoyed her treats immensely. We also enjoyed the delicious dinner her Chef prepared for us.Her castle’s location overlooks the Caribbean Sea. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. "Only A frame I know of in Jamaica! Kind of like staying in a tiny house.Hot plate worked well just needed a larger skillet for cooking a meal. Microwave didnt work well. Other appliances all worked well & put to use. Plunge pool refreshingly welcomed. Morning views to the Great pond with sunshine reflections awesone. Night view of Lovers Leap Lighthouse also spectacular. Then the night star filled sky. No other people on the lane but owner very aware of goings on so security definitely there....

"Perfect for our team of 18! Everyone enjoyed the food, the staff, the ambience. It was great to have our own privacy to bond as a team. Everything was immaculate! Minor problems- The internet connectivity was slow or didn't work, and the power tripped out 1-2 times per day, however, speedily restored by our butler."

"The sat nav directions took us to a field a couple of.mikes away from the property, called thenumber, took a few tries to get an answer, then due to misunderstanding, was given dirctions for coming in the opposite direction that we were.heading, took a few phone calls and a few wrong turns till we got there. The lady on arrival was really helpful. Had choice of 2 cabins. Lovely, vlean and huge bed. Take.mosquito spay though as right next to the water. The view was amazing of the pond....

"I stayed at this property for 4 days. It’s a very beautiful space, very clean and relaxing. I felt very safe and Rachel was very easy to communicate with it. All questions were answered right away. I highly recommend Palms at Avista and would definitely stay there again. If you are looking for a clean, safe comfortable and relaxing space with easy access to the town, this is the space for you. "
