"Everything, including the breakfast, was wonderful. My only suggestion is to amend the hotel name listing. We walked in circles looking for “San Marco Palace” but the sign outside says “Hotel Royal San Marco”"

"Amazing property. Spacious and beautiful. Located right next to the Circus Maximus and a little strip of bistros and bars. While we were staying there were a few concerts at the Circus Maximus and we were able to enjoy them from one of the restaurants near the apartment. Recommend Guenda restaurant for great food and drinks just a few steps away. "

"This property was fantastic! It was everything we were hoping for. We stayed here for most of a week and it was a wonderful spot for exploring Venice and the larger lagoon region.The main floor balcony and sitting area over the grand canal were wonderful for morning and evening lounging and watching the taxis, vaporetto, and gondolas go by. The bedrooms were both very comfortable and when all the windows were closed the place was very quiet. The upstairs bedroom balcony was a wonderful spot as...

"The staff here is very helpful, friendly, and available 24/7. The location was perfect - close to restaurants and stores, yet it is in a quiet location away from the main road (strada). Their inside restaurant has delicious food and a charming atmosphere - inside and out. "

"We had a great stay at Ca' Mariele with our toddler. The hotel is located just outside a large square with lots of dining options and about a 20min walk from St Marks Square. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!"

The area had numerous shops and restaurants, while still remaining quiet and private. We asked for local restaurant recommendations and every single recommendation resulted in a fantastic, authentic dining experience. Any request was met with an immediate response. "The people on the reception were very friendly and competent. Prices at the bar were totaly ok. Our apartment in the castle was big and comfortable. Animations for the kids were every evening and the Animators did a good job. On saturday evening there was a band, who played Songs od the 80's. It was cool! All in all a well-organized host."

"Excellent location for exploring Venice. General area can be very busy with tourists but walk a few alleys over and there’s no one. It took a while to figure this out but once we did it was fabulous. The apartment is spacious, quiet and decorated in true Venitian style. We loved it!"
