"If you do stay in one of the properties this guy owns do NOT give him cash! He is a scammer, asked us to pay him cash because according to him he had not received payment from Vrbo/HomeAway and our pending charge on our credit card would be removed. He charms you with good customer service and seems trust worthy but DO NOT GIVE HIM CASH! We've been trying to get a refund for almost a year now and Vrbo hasn't done anything about it either! "Beautiful and peaceful place to stay at Lake Atitlán. Amazing lake and volcano views, very clean cabins, and a relaxing atmosphere away from the crowds. The hosts were welcoming and the location was perfect for exploring nearby towns. Would definitely stay again."

"This property was not at all where Expedia said it was. I ended up getting a message on WhatsApp and had to follow a video to get to the property. It was in a small alley and no directions. Had to use context clues to find a restaurant that was in the video and follow from there. We were waiting by the door for a while because someone had to come unlock it for us. I booked the top room and got the room under it. The top room was taken. I ended up becoming extremely disappointed with this because...
