"This is such a cute property! Close to downtown but quiet enough to feel further away. The music in the evening did go until about midnight or so, but it wasn't disruptive. Since this is a historic building, it does come with its quirks. For instance, the tub/shower was in our room - like, actually a foot and a half from the bed, no wall separating lol. We had no problem making this work, though future guests may want to know this ahead of time. This property seems to function more as an Airbnb...

"Our stay at The Retreat was amazing! Andrew and we very communicative and attentive. The conditions of the place were great. Super clean, many amenities and the view to the lake and all was beautiful too. First time staying at a tiny house and loved it. Definitely coming back hopefully soon :)"

"We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days and it was a very enjoyable stay. The condo itself is a nice place with a lot of space, the master bedroom was very comfortable and it felt overall safe. "

"The house was perfect for us. Owner was responsive for anything we needed. The house was clean. It was a very nice older home and was in the area we needed to be. We would stay there again."

"I used to live in this beautiful area and it was such a treat to be able to stay somewhere right in the middle of all that is historic downtown Orlando. It is such a unique and beautiful neighborhood and NOTHING like other areas of the city--but you have to experience it to understand that. Dyna's spot is smack in the midst of it, and just a few minute's walk to the little bars, bistros and quaint places to gather, including Lake Eola. She is a lovely person and we could not have enjoyed staying...

The house is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen and super comfortable beds.The real highlight is the backyard — the infinity pool overlooking the lake is stunning, and the outdoor kitchen and dock made it perfect for relaxing and entertaining.The host was great, and check-in was smooth. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back!"

"Highly Recommended. Hristina the host was friendly and met us on arrival. All rooms very clean and good beds. Delightful private patio/garden area. Cupboards labled with contents to make it easy for new arrivals to find plates etc. Short walk to supermarket. Children also well catetered for with box games. "We enjoyed the comfortable beds after a long day of driving. The dogs loved the fenced in yard after between stuck in the truck for hours. The place is very modern and clean and the neighbors were friendly."

"Other than a misunderstanding with the parking situation, we had a great stay at this rental. It is walking distance to Lake Eola and many restaurants and cafes. Despite being in the heart of downtown, the neighborhood is nice and quiet."
