"It’s an aged hotel. Besides the size of the room, it barely can be counted as a three and half stars hotel except wonderful staffs. While the room is big, there is no luggage rack. Ended up we have to open up the suitcases on the desk and the ground. Feeling the hotel management kind of gives up. I guess the price reflects that. "

"The staff member who checked us in was friendly. Parking was convenient. The bed was creaky and bowed under human weight so the mattress caved in when either of us turned in bed. The walls are very thin so I could hear what was happening in surrounding rooms which made it hard to sleep."

We paid extra for a Corner King Room with a bay + city view but were given a 7th-floor room facing the convention center — no city view, no balcony, and not even a pool view. Every corner room shown online appeared to include a balcony, which felt very misleading.
The front desk was dismissive. We even asked to downgrade to a standard room just to get a pool or city view at minimum, but were told the hotel was fully booked due to a conference so we were...

"My stay at the Westgate Hotel was overall really positive.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which made a big difference throughout the stay. The hotel itself was very clean, and while the décor is quite ornate (especially in the beautiful lobby), the rooms could use a bit of an update.
One thing I really appreciated was the security, having to be buzzed in late at night made us feel much safer as two women traveling alone.
